Don’t forget that the UI Design guide, SDK, and Emulator for Gear S are now available! Check out the below information to see how you can enhance your app to support the Gear S for maximum judging points!*
Use of the new Gear SDK is not required for Round 2. However, you are welcome to take full advantage of it as you update your app. A set number of points will be awarded for all entries that support the latest Samsung Gear S screen resolution of 360x480 and pass certification for the Gear S device.
*Gear apps which include features not supported on the Samsung Gear S device - prohibiting them from supporting the latest Samsung Gear S - will not be penalized. See the Official Rules for full details.
New SDK, and Emulator
The new Tizen SDK for Wearable 1.0.0 Beta3 and updated Gear S Emulator are now available on the Samsung Developers site! Make sure you’re ready to get your Gear S support points by testing your app’s Gear S resolution with the newest Emulator (included in the new SDK).

Finally, in order to help you to make your Gear apps more stable in Round 2, Samsung has released an App UI case & solution guide containing solutions for the four most frequent issues which cause a Gear app to fail certification.
