Round 1 Awards and Round 2 Rules Clarification

Question: Can I include new team members in my Round 2 submission?

Yes, eligible Round 2 participants may include additional team members in their Round 2 submission. However, the team representative must remain consistent through both Round 1 and Round 2 submissions AND new team members must meet the eligibility criteria for the challenge.

Question: My app is a finalist. What do I need to do to receive my prize?

Congratulations on being named a Finalist winner in Round 1! To receive your prize you must:

  1. Complete and return an affidavit to ChallengePost
  2. Complete and return necessary documents required for prize disbursement to Samsung


Question: I never received an affidavit form from ChallengePost. What should I do?

If you did not receive an affidavit from ChallengePost, please email and include the name of your finalist submission in your message.


Question: I never received any documents required for prize disbursement from Samsung. What should I do?

If you submitted your affidavit to ChallengePost, but have not yet been provided with any information regarding prize disbursement from Samsung, please email and include information of your finalist submission (App title, Seller ID, Content ID) in your message.

* Developers who are residents in Korea will receive an email with all the necessary information to process vendor registration and prize disbursement next week.


Question: I submitted all of my forms. Now what do I do?

Samsung is currently reviewing all submitted personal and bank/account information for vendor registration. Once vendor registration is completed, prize money will be transferred to finalist accounts. Samsung expects that Round 1 payment will be completed in October 2014.

If Samsung has questions about any of your personal and bank/account information or needs any additional information, they will contact you individually via email before October.


Question: I haven’t submitted my forms to Samsung yet. Is there still time?

For those who have not sent Samsung an email with required forms and information, please contact to provide all the requested information as soon as possible.
