Gear Messaging - Wrong app in the gear final app list
Hello,
You have not placed here updated version of our entry which is completely different project. Our updated entry is full communication engine that we hope to replace standard system SMS app.
Correct link: http://challengepost.com/software/gear-messaging
Correct video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-plWsnjwKY
That version of app was rejected by certification team without even 1 second of testing the app without any reason. Samsung sent us video showing SamsungStore progress bar loading (!) which was totally incomprehensible for us as SamsungStore is not our app. They never presented us the video from our app at all.
Samsung testers wrote that he allegedly couldn't install app (drawing conclusion that there must be something wrong on our side) but they never responded to our videos showing how we're installing app multiple times always with success and show the whole app working with different usage scenarios. We assumed this was some big misunderstanding, expected certification team to check things and just fix the process. But Samsung testers never fixed that despite our multiple attempts to contact them. With buggy sellerapps website it was even impossible to leave comment for tester without deleting whole entry what was also reported.
Therefore please do not bear on us responsiblity for obvious Samsung certification team errors and kindly please make corrections here. If there is any doubt that our solution is fully working we may again present in details a lot of videos showing how it installing and working properly with many trials. Samsung certification & support team was previously reported multiple times for resulting completely random results in the certification testing not only by us. Please respect our big work that was done in this project and inform judges about what happened and show them actual app we created.

The final submission list is based on snapshots taken at the time of deadline. If you've edited the submission after that moment, your changes are visible under "show latest version" button available on selected submission page.

Jadem thanks for tip but we know that button. Our problem is that judges are not going to see that version for the reasons I described above (certification team did not tested our app). We have not been editing submission after the deadline.

We had exactly the same experience with Samsung certification; one of our follower apps has been rejected repeatedly because the certification team couldn't install it. And it's still not passed. They sent us videos just like you describe, though this last time they didn't even bother to do that - just rejected the app with no reason given, and when we asked, we were simply told that they couldn't install it. What is wrong with these people?
It really makes this challenge into a farce for entrants like yours and ours. I'm sure that certification was intended to ensure a minimum QA standard for all entrants, but it's turned into a random fiasco instead. The worst part is that the more sophisticated an app is, the less likely it is to pass certification - ensuring that the challenge is biased toward simple, low-functionality apps.
All we can do now is hope that the judges are made aware of these circumstances, and take them into account when making their decisions.

I also get reports from end users who say they can't install the app after paying for it. They are dominating the Buyer comments, and the people don't seem very happy. :(
Interesting thought, though, is that did any of us write an installer? No. It's Samsung that is doing the install (or not).
Unless they can cite something wrong with the .apk or .wgt and some documentation, any installation bug sounds like a Samsung bug to me.
Samsung has never even explained why they were uninstalling my Master app in mid September.

I was planning of making the next version of my app integrated to be able to send images from the watch to the phone. But as I can see there is so much trouble with installing and certification. Does everyone have problems with this, or are there just a few?

Hello, did you reinstall SDK and/or IDE for Galaxy Gear S?
Such issue appeared in my case when I had incorrect (default) certificate set in Tizen IDE.
