Round 1 Prize Money

Did anyone receive the prize money yet?

    Nope. Not yet. Is there any date before which they were supposed to transfer the amount? or is it just "some time in October" ?

    Any plans on how to use the prize money? :)

    Buying a new PC with haxm supported processor, not to mention other kick @#$% specs :p

    Keep in mind that we have to give 30% tax to the government. :(

    Don't know about other countries though.

    I think it will be paid with round 2 prizes

    It will be interesting to see when payment clears.

    For those individuals winning in the second round, there could be major tax implications based on whether they receive payment on December 31st vs January 1st. Good problem to worry about, I guess.
    That's assuming they follow a similar procedure to the first round. They could meet at the conference and hand the winners a suitcase full of cash, I guess. ;)
