I have an inquiry for certification period.

Hello, I have an inquiry for certification period.

On Korean-version website, it says certification due date is 5 on October 10th.
However, on English-version website, it is 5PM on October 13th.

Is it a matter of translation?

Please confirm if it is okay to go through certification process by October 13th.
Time matters since certification has not been completed yet.

    it is Oct 13 because of Korean holiday.

    Mine was passed last night :) I won't win in round two - but good to be in with everyone.
    we're all winners :)

    Loving getting my app updated - lots more to come too.. These competitions really are good as they give you hard deadlines.

    As mentioned, it is indeed 5PM EST on October 13th and was sent out in an update. This essentially gives one more day to be approved as the testing offices appear to be closed on the weekend usually. It is possible to go from "Under device test" to approved in a single day assuming you have been in the queue for 3+ days... but sometimes the "Test Confirmation" state can hold things up.

    Monday is a national holiday in America with most companies having off from work. As such, it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't actually do the application download until Tuesday morning but I wouldn't count on that obviously.

    Both of mine made it through as of this morning which relieves a ton of stress/worry that I had. Don't know if it helped but in the "Comments to certification team" section I mentioned they were Gear App Challenge round 2 finalists that had an October 13 deadline to be approved if possible. I also spent time doing the "self check list" located at: http://developer.samsung.com/distribute/app-certification/self-check-list-wearable for one of the two submissions.

    Good luck with certification and I hope everyone's application makes it. (As an aside, I'm personally fine if they moved the deadline to early Tuesday morning sometime.... the testing offices seem to mostly run ~10 PM EST to ~8 AM EST on weekdays so that would essentially give everyone an extra day without much / any judging delay if they have Columbus Day off like many do. As I know how frustrated I would be if my hard work got blocked right at the end that I don't wish on anyone else and I'd rather compete in a fair fight).

    All just my personal thoughts / opionions above. Good luck again everyone!

    Is it possible to expedite the certification of the participating Apps not yet certified? Please request the Samsung Certification team to complete the certification before 13th Oct 2014 5:00PM EDT so that hard work of the participants waiting for App certification don't go waste. Thank you very much.
