Duplicate Apps in Gear

When I try to install a update to the already present app in Gear, it installs fine on the phone, but on Gear it makes a duplicate and doesnt replace the old one. So effectively leaving two apps on gear. Did any one face the problem? Please Help...

    Is the latest wgt's id the same as the previous one?

    yeah it is. I tried changing it and installing it too. Still it installs twice.
