Need help with certificate request
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your time reading my funny story.
I am updating my Gear app to store to support Gear S, using tizen 1.0.0b3
In order to submit, I must first register with tizen IDE.
Because my app is current on sale, so I must import my old certificate registration file. If I create new certificate, there will be problems with updating.
The sad thing is, 2 month ago my laptop crashed, so I re-install window without saving my certification registration xml file.
I really nervous now.
I send email to gear2.sec@samsung.com, with a little hope that they still store my certification registration xml, but no reply.
I thinks i could delete my current app that's current on sale.
And then re-create certificate again from scratch.
But that's will may violate the challenge rule.
Everyone, I feel really nervous now.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Samsung would have emailed your original certificate. I assume you didn't use something like gmail which would have saved the email and certificate attachment online?

I am new to Samsung store, So I have no knowledge of updating app and the important of certification registration xml file.

If you loose the certificate then you have to generate it again. Don't know if a same app can be updated with two different certificates.

Just create a new one, send the old ID and the new ID to the saac email, explains your situation.

I believe @tipztv is right.
In fact, if you are changing app from standalone to integrated, you have to create new one with new ID (you can't change app type) - so it should not violate challenge rules.
