Certification issues

I've had my latest version rejected from certification. Clearly, the person responsible for the certification rejection has misunderstood how the app works, and rejects it on core functionality which is similar to other apps that are currently certified.

My first reaction is to re-submit the app with an explanation to the certification team, but I am not allowed to do this without registering a new binary - the developer portal will not allow me to do this.

As this issue was the only one reported and there is nothing I can fix, I would like to avoid going through a week-long certification process again.

Is there a channel to the certification team where I can get them to re-visit this issue ?

I think we are a lot of people putting a lot of effort into it these days, so these certification issues are really frustrating and nerve-wrecking!

Happy coding out there,
Peter

One workaround would be to (for uploading the binary), just create a new one with some small code change which doesnt effect functionality ( like a extra space or something) and write in Certification Teams instructions that it has been rejected because of this "reasons" previously but its actually not that or something and resubmit. Worked for me during first round.

Samsung has invested 1,2M$ in this challenge, so it should be wise to dedicate few enginers especially for finalists app certification.
Additional cost would be minimal (compared to total challenge cost) and chances for better and more polished apps would be much higher.

    That's my opinion.
