Submit new app or update current one?

I have question regarding submitting app for the second round. Should the app be submitted to the Samsung Apps Store as an update to the actual app which won the first round or maybe as a totally new app? Any hint would be appreciated.

    Hi jadeim,

    Thanks for writing. The rules for Round 2 entries state:

    "The second round is only for Entries selected as winning Entries in the first round. There will be an opportunity for eligible Participants to improve or modify the application submitted in the first round. Such improvements are encouraged but not required. Participants may not submit an application update that bares no resemblance to the original application, as determined by the sponsor and administrator.

    For the second round eligible participants, apps must be registered or updated, and certified on Samsung GALAXY Apps by the second round Samsung GALAXY Apps Certification Period deadline on October 13, 2014."

    You need to modify the binary and upload the modified one. If you add add a new binary then users already using the app will have to install it as a new app and will not be able to update it.
