Clarification regarding Video for second round

The video to be prepared for second round has to have basic features description as well or just depicting the incremental features should do?

    What is the deadline to submit the video 30th of Sep or 10th of Oct ?

    It says: CERTIFICATION: During Round 2 judging will begin during the Round 2 Certification Period. Submission materials entered by the Second Round Submission Period deadline," including the demo video " , will be evaluated October 1, 2014 - October 10, 2014. Certified apps will be downloaded and evaluated October 11, 2014 - October 20, 2014, following the Certification Period deadline.

    So I believe the deadline for video is also 30th Sep. What confuses me is that if we include the basic features in the demo along with the incremental changes, the video might be too lengthy not to mention repetitive.Can the concerned authorities please clarify this issue.
    IMHO, there should be two links provided in second round submissions , so the judges have option to revisit the 1st round basic features video and for those who already remember their previous impressions can save time and proceed to the upgraded app's incremental features depicting video. Never-mind some of us must have already done the submissions , can those early birds please let others know how they proceeded ? Thanks in advance

    Hi ssp_SRIB,

    Thanks for writing. The rules state that:

    "Entries submitted on the Challenge website must include, without limitation:...a URL for a video on YouTube, Vimeo or Youku, which demonstrates the main functionality of the Application.

    Applications must function as depicted in the video and/or expressed in the text description or other materials submitted on the Challenge Website."

    Additionally, the deadline for the Round 2 submission form on ChallengePost (including the video) is September 30th 5:00pm EDT. The form can be found here: http://gearappfinal.challengepost.com/submissions/new
