Original Gear 1 Devices

I was just wondering whether apps created for Tizen (in my case an integrated app) for the Gear 2 and Gear S, are compatible with the original Galaxy Gear devices?

  Yes, but:
  1) Galaxy Gear need to have tizen firmware update installed (available via Kies).
  2) two things won't work: heart rate monitor and IR blaster (hardware limitations)
